Garden Treasures Farmstand is a great place to get pre-picked organic produce, bulk organic grains and beans, pasture raised eggs, local milk, and other specialty food products. We now are qualified to accept the EBT and other food stamp programs for low income families. We compliment our own production with a number of local and organic growers- most of them are personal friends and believe in the same principles of local, organic, and sustainability.
Our farmstand also has ethically grown animal products. We proudly serve Jackies Jersies Raw Milk from Ferndale, Tobi farm blend teas, and Highland Farms from Arlington who grows pasture raised beef and pork. We are currently looking for more quality suppliers of eggs and USDA certified organic chicken and pork.
We exclusively sell Small Wood Farms pit-fruit produce from Okanogen Wa. Dennis and Malorie farm 38 varieties of pit-fruit on a small 25 acre orchard outside the town of Okanogen. Since 2003 they have farmed organically with a unique micro climate and careful selection of the most flavorful varieties. Dennis is careful to pick at the peak of flavor and sugar content and then directly ships to our farm every Friday without fail. Customers can join a 10-week Small Wood Farm Fruit only CSA pickup program during the peak of the harvest season.
We are a truely local organic food store, at least 1/2 of the produce we sell is from a 20 mile radius of our farm. A majority of the rest of the produce we sell is from inside a 300 mile radius of our farm- and grown in Washington. We stock only organic and natural food whenever possible, and buy from growers who are actively working the soil in a sustainable and organic way. From time to time we use our friendly organic grower cooperative in Portland Oregon to supplement our store to get things like table grapes, fresh lemons, oranges, and large avacados.
